Complimentary – no commitment – Home Visit
The GF service starts with a complimentary home visit and a quick survey to understand your needs and how the GF can help.
This can be as simple as lawn mowing and hedge cutting to a full Asset Management Plan looking after every aspect of your home from organising boiler maintenance to preventing stuck Thermostatic Radiator Valves through a proactive regime of inspection and testing.
The GF will point out any mandatory / advisory work that should be done if it is previously absent e.g. annual boiler servicing
Finding the Perfect Fit
No two homes are the same and the same is true of people so the GF service is designed to specifically fit your needs.
GF provides an agreed number of hours per month of work to complete the agreed works.
- The number of hours agreed depends on what you want done, the size of property and the scope of work needed to maintain the property
- The agreement provides time and expertise in exchange for a monthly fee (paid by Direct Debit or Standing Order) with an option for additional hours at a discounted rate
- Minimum hours provided on any single visit is 2
- Monthly fees include materials, consumables and the removal of grass / cuttings / waste for the agreed works
- Monthly fees are to be paid by Standing Order of Direct debit only. Fees for additional works can be by bank transfer or cash
- Hours unused in any given month are accrued for use at a later date, perhaps for use on additional works e.g. decorating a room
If appointed there will be a “gentleman’s agreement” (no binding contract) that sets out the details of the agreed work plan.

The With Urgent Call Out Service
The work you require provided monthly with the Urgent Call Out service as needed – includes:
- Urgent call out service – on call assistance for urgent problems
- Ad-Hoc and planned works provided through regular visits
- Any additional hours / work provided at a discounted rate
- All materials and consumables for planned works and the removal of grass / cuttings / waste
- Hours unused in any given month are accrued for use at a later date
This is the flag ship service that delivers a safe, secure and well presented home and garden with the added comfort of assistance on call for urgent problems.
The General Factotum Service
The work you require provided monthly – includes:
- Ad-Hoc and planned works provided through regular visits
- Any additional hours / work provided at a discounted rate
- All materials and consumables for planned works and the removal of grass / cuttings / waste
- Hours unused in any given month are accrued for use at a later date

The Work Plan Folder
The agreed, structured monthly work plan is written and provided for you in a folder that ensures all your planned work and requests are documented and addressed.
Part of the Work Plan is Your Wish List, a dedicated section for tasks that you wish to be done but are not yet included in the work plan e.g. repoint the north wall, build a patio on the terrace, or re-decorate the study.
Part of the Work Plan is Your Ad-Hoc Tasks this section captures simpler tasks that the you may identify between scheduled visits e.g. move the olive tree in urn from front patio to green house to over winter, or replace a slipped roof tile.
Customer Safety
The GF service is provided in strict adherence to the written Safeguarding and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) policies.
The GF is Disclosure and Baring Service (DBS) checked and the evidence provided to customers.
